Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing quality pharmaceutical care to patients. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure accurate medication preparation and administration.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist

- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of drug classifications to accurately interpret prescriptions

Requirements:

- Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician

- Previous experience in an retail pharmacy setting is preferred

- Proficient in medication administration techniques

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and drug classifications

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals
