Costco Travel is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Issaquah, WA

Position Summary:
The Travel Financial Analyst’s primary responsibility is to assist with the department’s accounting, financial reporting, and internal and external compliance requirements. The Financial Analyst has responsibilities to support the department’s global activities, including foreign exchange, local regulatory and compliance requirements, risk management, and other duties as assigned.
Job Duties/Essential Functions:
  • Assists with preparation of key journal entries and analyses for month-end reporting for various aspects of the business and intercompany transactions.
  • Maintains subsidiary ledgers and G/L account reconciliations.
  • Coordinates with the corporate office for various reporting requirements.
  • Participates in user support of various accounting systems.
  • Participates in sales and cost analyses for travel products.
  • Provides support to management in an evolving and growing environment.
  • Performs other account reconciliations, research, and special projects as required.
  • Participates in internal control review, improvements, and documentation.
  • Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.
Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery. :
  • Computer, phone, headset, copier, printer, fax
Non-Essential Functions :
  • Assists in other areas of the department as necessary.

Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications:
Required: :
  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting; minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
  • Understanding of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a stressful and deadline driven environment; strives for excellence while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively collaborate with all levels of management, Accounting, I.S., and International business partners, as well as with third parties (i.e. external auditors).
  • Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and ability to work longer hours as business needs arise.
  • Strong technical PC skills and an aptitude for learning new systems
Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000 (Level 1)
Other Conditions :
  • Management will review the Job Analysis for this position prior to a job offer.
