The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building and supporting new application solutions for our pathologist application assistant desktop project. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for upskilling and mentoring two junior Mendix developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new application solutions using the Mendix platform for the pathologist application assistant desktop project.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Mendix applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Lead the upskilling and mentoring of two junior Mendix developers, providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers to ensure code quality and adherence to project requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in Mendix applications.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in the Mendix platform and low-code development methodologies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, iterate on solutions, and continuously improve the applications.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the Mendix applications, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Mendix Platform Developer, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience building and supporting Mendix applications.
• Strong proficiency in low-code development using the Mendix platform, including model-driven development, microflows, and integration capabilities.
• Experience in mentoring and upskilling junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles, Agile methodologies, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in the healthcare industry or with medical applications is a plus.
• Mendix certification(s) is highly desirable.
