Duties

• Insurance verification: You will work with insurance companies to verify patient coverage and ensure that patients are able to access the medications they need.
• Accurately filling prescriptions: You will work under the direction of a licensed pharmacist to accurately fill prescriptions, ensuring that the correct medication and dosage are dispensed.
• Managing inventory: You will be responsible for managing inventory levels of medications, ordering and restocking medications as needed, and ensuring that all expired medications are removed from inventory.
• Patient care: You will assist pharmacists in providing patient care services, including counseling patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
• Record keeping: You will maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed, as well as patient profiles and prescription history.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment: You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
• 18 years of age or older
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screening
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to undergo training as required.
