2 openings available. Brown University Athletics and Recreation is seeking candidates for the Communications Officer position.
The Communications Officer is a member of the division's external staff and will tell the Brown University Athletics story by managing an integrated athletics and communications program that includes game-day coverage, sports information and statistics, web coordination, social media management, and photography (incl.
freelance) for a variety of Brown’s 34 varsity teams, and related Athletics events.
Education and Experience
Follow established Brown University identity and messaging priorities.
Coordinate with internal campus constituents, including the Office of University Communications, as needed for projects requiring collaboration and input from other University stakeholders.

The duties of the position are to be performed in compliance with all NCAA and Ivy League rules and regulations, and any rules violations on behalf of themselves or any knowledge of violations within the division are to be reported to the appropriate parties.
Employees in coaching positions must pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Test, maintain current AED / CPR & First Aid certification (certification is available at no cost through the division), and attend all required divisional and / or NCAA training / education programs.
