Coshocton Regional Medical Center is looking for a per diem night shift (7pm-7am) RN to join our Emergency Services team!

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation and provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the ER unit.
• Experience monitoring patient progress and with providing updates to doctors, patients, and family members.
• Communicates with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Knowledge of nursing care methods, procedures, and emergency care.
• Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
• Excels at communicating with a team and has strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies and hospital Social Worker.
• Responsible and compassionate with patients.
• Able to multitask with strong organizational skills.
• Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• NRP certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Pay: $30.00 - $36.41 per hour
