Position Summary: Operates switchboard, patient registration (ER, inpatient, outpatient) and various other business office functions. *Sunday 7pm-7am, Monday 11pm-7am, Tuesday 7am-7pm, and Wednesday 11pm-7am.

Duties

• Operates switchboard.
• Registers patients and enters into computer system.
• Has consents signed for all patients.
• Daily call schedule.
• Disperse records/copies to Medical Records, Data Processing, and Business Office.
• Assists co-workers if needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Typical Physical Demands/Work Environment

Requires corrected vision and hearing to a normal range. Work is classified as sedentary to light and requires ability to stoop, kneel, reach, and lift objects up to 30 lbs., finger/grasp objects, and talk on the telephone. Must possess ability to perform repetitive motions as in keyboarding/typing, and writing.
