    Purpose: The Health Service Assistant meets student medical needs as required and maintains student health records and reporting.
    Hours: 8 hours per day
    Contract Status: Regular/Probationary
    FLSA Status: Non-exempt - Classified
    Start Date: As soon as possible
    Calendar: 190 Work Days
    Rate: $16.73 per hour with benefits
    Notes: Open until filled with earliest review being June 1st, 2022
    Retirement Contribution: Corvallis School District participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. Upon eligibility, the district contributes 6% of an employee’s salary to their Individual Account Program (IAP). Eligibility is defined as working at least six full calendar months in a qualifying position. Part-time employees working at least six months and 600 hours in a calendar year will qualify.
    Note: Open until filled with earliest review of applications on November 3, 2021.
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies as trained by certifications and District Nurse.
    • Completion of blood borne pathogen protection training.
    • Standard First Aid certification (required).
    • CPR (required)
    • Required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
