Cortica is Hiring an EEG Technician (Per Diem) Near Burlington, MA

Cortica is seeking a part-time EEG Technologist with extensive pediatric EEG experience and familiarity with Cadwell equipment in Burlington, MA!

What will you do?
  • Setup, operate, and maintain routine and ambulatory EEGs 
  • Perform equipment diagnostics when needed 
  • Keeping an inventory of EEG supplies 
  • Apply electrodes to a patient’s head without the expectation that the patient will remain still or be able to follow directions 
  • Serve as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team working with children with developmental disabilities and their families/caregivers 
  • Teammates are frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl 
  • Team members must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds 
  • Basic understanding of and ability to use basic software and systems including, but not limited to, electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products; daily use of laptop and/or tablet for email, note taking, and other tasks required 
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions 
What do you bring to the table?
  • Graduate of Nationally Accredited Neurodiagnostic program
  • Associate Degree required 
  • Experience working with pediatric patients with autism and other developmental disorders
  • Registered Electroencephalography Technologist Certification (REEGT) preferred
  • BLS Certification 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

The base pay range for this opening is $32.97/hr to $36.63/hr. According to your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location, you will receive compensation that fits appropriately within the range.
