We are seeking a seasoned professional to join as an Administrative Coordinator at our global business center in Johnston, IA. This position will support a diverse group of individuals and their teams with the NA Seed Production and Supply Chain group across the U.S. and Canada. As an Administrative Coordinator on this team, you will use your experience and skills to perform complex administrative duties with minimal supervision. You will work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where organization, resourcefulness and flexibility are of the utmost importance. The ability to think proactively and adapt to changing priorities is critical. This role will include normal administrative responsibilities, such as managing calendars, schedules, travel, employee onboarding, event planning, etc. his role will also be expected to perform additional high level administrative

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and support teams with Safety and Corteva Values at the forefront.
  • Maintain and prioritize calendar/schedule, organize meetings, and arrange cost effective travel for assigned staff.
  • Organize agenda and attendees, attend, and participate in departmental and leadership meetings, as well as, provide input, take minutes, and distribute information.
  • Plan large events, by coordinating a team for agenda planning, venue coordination, catering, schedule speakers and assure that details are in place for a successful event.
  • Maintain Departmental Sharepoint and Teams sites and Outlook Distribution Lists (DL's)
  • Assist assigned staff in new employee onboarding, office/cubical plan, I-9 and related forms, new employee announcements, etc.
  • Create, code, verify and process Purchase Orders, Invoices and expense reports.
  • Lead the NA SPSC Location Administrative Supervisor/Coordinator Network calls monthly with communication and networking. Includes coordination of NA SPSC network events and coordinated purchase and ordering employee safety equipment, apparel, and employee appreciation items, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


What You Need:

  • High School diploma/GED minimum, Secondary education valued.
  • 5 years of relevant administrative work experience
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines and responsibilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office products (excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Sharepoint, Teams)
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Work independently, professionally, and collaboratively with internal and external partners.
  • Detail oriented and work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Conduct yourself professionally with tact and discretion. Exemplify high ethical behavior and know how to maintain total confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Requires occasional overnight travel. Regular daytime hours are the norm with some needed flexibility to work evenings or overtime as events or business priorities dictate.
  • Requires Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in-office work and flexibility to work remotely Monday and Friday if desired and approved by manager.
