CorTech is seeking to hire a Repairs Technician II for our client in Brea, CA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $25.00/Hour Shift Start and End Time 8am-5pm M-F Job Summary: Receives, inspects, tests, and troubleshoots and repairs items coming from customers to get repaired; Ceates the quote for chargeable repairs, prepares tear down notes, and prepares the repaired items for shipment. Duties: Log incoming repairs by creating records of customer units received for repair including customer name, unit ID, return date, etc.; Inspect unit and create general plan for troubleshooting; . Test unit and direct and narrow troubleshooting plan; Troubleshoot and repair. Determine exact cause(s) of failure(s) and rectify; Prepare and send quote for chargeable repairs. Customer must approve charges for repairs; Prepare tear down notes, complete and sign appropriate documents. The Repairs Technician II, under immediate supervision, is responsible for multifunctional support of various internal and external departments. The Repairs Technician I will be responsible for RMA repair, communication with customers and data management. Duties and Responsibilities: ? Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair fielded products once they are received in-house ? Document, maintain, upgrade or replace hardware and software systems ? Support and maintain account and data information about repairs ? Determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customers' needs ? Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures in coordination with FAA regulations Part 145 ? Program operational logistics and reporting support ? Perform other job-related duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications and/or Education: ? Some post High School coursework in Electronics ? 3-6 years of experience working in a similar role ? Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within an electronics lab or FAA environment ? Understanding of basic electronics and soldering skills, IPC 610 a plus ? Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs ? Working knowledge of ERP system ? Working experience in an administrative or customer service role.
