Cor-Tech is hiring a Quality Technician for our client in Essex, VT.
What to know about the Quality Technician role:
The Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting and testing raw materials, auditing manufacturing processes, and ensuring finished goods meet product specifications and quality expectations.
  • 1st shift 5:00 am 3:30 pm Monday Thursday or Tuesday Friday
  • OR 2nd shift 3:15 pm 1:45 am
  • Salary negotiable based on experience.

Quality Technician Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to objectively make decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to interpret and complete necessary documentation and conduct data entry.

  • Understanding and familiarity with computer systems and programs.

Quality Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develops a working understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and SOP training.
  • Facilitates and executes adherence to regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Inspects, samples, and documents incoming raw materials and components for production.
  • Audits production with a balanced focus on aspects critical to customer quality.
  • Works collaboratively with internal and external teams to set standards and expectations for production and provide clarification as needed.
  • Collects and distributes samples for customers and testing.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities through testing assumptions relative to training, safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
  • Supports and adheres to company policies, procedures, and values.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Quality Technician Physical Requirements:
  • Constant standing and walking throughout the facilities.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequently moves items weighing up to 40 pounds across the facilities.
  • Frequently inspecting raw materials and components prior to production, during production, and as finished goods.
  • Visual acuity to read and follow instructions.
  • Constant moving throughout the facility.
  • Frequently moving items weighing up to 30 pounds across the facility.
  • Visual acuity to read and follow instructions.
