2ND Shift: MONDAY-THURSDAY 2:30PM 1AM with mandatory OT that can extend the M-F work hours up to 10 hours and also requires every other Saturday as needed to meet production needs.
Job Summary:
Perform production work on a variety of punch presses loading and unloading parts and basic inspection to insure the quality of the parts. Will have the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to advance to Punch Press Operator #2 classification.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the quality of the parts produced
- Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding.
- Manage simple reports on productivity, quality, and safety.
- Physical Ability to do work requiring frequent standing and bending, as well as pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 30lbs. frequently.
- Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
- Sufficient visual acuity (Corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly.
