CorTech is Hiring a Product Owner II : 325867 Near Columbus, IN

Pay Rate - $51.50/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm US/Eastern
Job Description
Provides support and assistance to technology team serving as a liaison between business and technology to translate strategic and tactical objectives into workable solutions.
Responsibilities for this position will include the following:
  • Works on small projects or as a team member on larger information technology projects typically under direction of a more senior business analysts.
  • Assists in capturing analyzing and documenting business and end user requirements.
  • Assists in identifying and implementing solutions, performing cost-benefit analyses and measuring results.
  • Assists in the preparation of the testing strategy and testing the execution plan.
  • Gathers, analyzes, and documents current practices, workflows, and business needs to identify efficiencies, alternatives, and gaps.
  • As part of the team, ensures that technical and content specifications cover all program specifications.
  • Participates in ensuring positive relationships with other company functions involved in the intake process.
Position Requirements:
  • A Bachelors’ Degree is required.
  • While it’s not a requirement, it would be great to see candidates with SAFe Agile training or certification in.
  • This manager is seeking candidates with a minimum of two years’ experience in a business setting. The new hire coming in needs to be able to hit ground running.
  • Lean Agile-SAFe implementation experience, and/or Product Owner experience is preferred.

  • Translating Relevant Market Data: Collects and categorizes customer voices and market information by leveraging appropriate research tools and techniques; analyzes research findings to identify opportunities to deliver customer solutions.
  • Marketing Plan Management: Develops marketing mix recommendations based on the 4 P’s (Product, Price, Promotion, and Placement) to meet customer needs and achieve business objectives; guides and influences cross-functional implementation and creates framework to evaluate market responses and business performance.
  • Maximizing Profitability: Develops strategies that demonstrate the use of all marketing and sales levers (e.g. pricing strategies, promotions, volume based incentives, and value, feature, or benefit selling) to optimize profit.
  • Positioning For Target Segments: Aggregates appropriate inputs (e.g. customer perceptions, competitor positioning, alternative product capabilities) and determining where we need or want to compete for business within the target market segment.
  • Product Life Cycle Management: Identifies and executes changes to the product portfolio in response to evolving market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Storytelling: Develops and delivers a compelling narrative which resonates with a target audience and influences a decision or course of action.
