CorTech is seeking to hire a Marketing Communication & Digital Marketing Asst 1 for our client in Warwick, RI! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! Pay: $30.00/Hour Remote This position is responsible for supporting logistics, technology, and seamless execution of online virtual/digital events for Client Surgery’s Surgical Education. Virtual events include meetings, webinars, conferences, surgeon trainings events and online education platforms/training modalities. Essential Duties and Position Responsibilities:
Support logistics for virtual education events, including working with vendors to plan and execute events; creating promotional pieces; submitting approved event.
Work effectively with other BU Surgical Educational team members, such as Digital Education Specialist, Surgeon Education Regional Managers, and Coordinator team to ensure alignment.
Support Digital Education Specialist with reporting metrics using MS Excel.
Support process improvement initiatives to increase team efficiency and effectiveness (e.g. CVENT implementation and other initiatives as identified).
Other ad hoc projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
2-3 years of combined experience in event planning and/or administrative support. Experience with digital event planning and analytics preferred but not required.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Proficiency with MS Office Suite required (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook). Advanced proficiency with MS Excel preferred (i.e. ability to work with Pivot tables, use VLOOKUP, and apply rules and filters).
Light design skills to apply templates for the creation of promotional pieces in LucidPress/Marq (or Adobe Creative Suite)
Experience with collaborative tools within the Microsoft environment strongly preferred (e.g. MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
Ability to learn quickly, manage time and prioritize a range of tasks.
Ability to work with others in a team environment.
Strong desire for creativity, ownership, and accountability.
