Summary:
The LPN Supervisor is responsible for managing and addressing resident care needs within the community. They will monitor resident care needs, alert the Wellness Director when a resident has a change in condition, and address both resident and family concerns.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Partners with Wellness Director by alerting to any change of condition of the resident including tracking incident reporting.
• Communicates regularly with families as needed
• Acts as a resource and meets the families social and emotional needs while encouraging family involvement.
• Assists Wellness Director in monitoring clinical employees during their scheduled shift by participating monitoring all resident assignments
• Assists with Resident Care and Medication Administration
• Assists with audits of Medication Carts

Education and Experience:

Maintain a current active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License. required A minimum of 2 years of senior living clinical experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Possess the ability to handle complex issues.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Express compassion for residents, co workers, and guests on a consistent basis.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing administration practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing administration functions in an assisted living community.
