Corsair is Hiring a Business Analyst, B2B Near Milpitas, CA

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join Corsair’s Channel Marketing Team to drive analyzing, reporting, and growing. The ideal candidate will be passionate about marketing intelligence, data analytics, and the gaming industry.

Responsibilities:

  • The responsibilities of a business analyst entail the analysis, tracking, and reporting of financial data, centering on both total sales and margin.
  • The analyst must track margin at the product level to ensure that margin goals are met.
  • Own the forecasting process to ensure B2B BU accurately forecasts on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis with the ability to report results to the B2B BU
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL (Structured Query Language), Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • The Business Analyst will use these tools to create reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations to provide valuable insights to stakeholders.
  • Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems like Salesforce.
  • Business analysts must be proficient in working with distributors such as TD-SYNNEX
  • Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges as they arise
  • Develop and execute an inventory plan for a portfolio of items based on demand, actual orders, supply chain lead times, and available inventory.
  • Ensure the business has a steady flow of stock without overcapitalizing resources.

Qualifications:

Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Business, Finance or other related fields or experience.
  • 3-5 years working experience in Marketing/Business/Data analysis, or data-intensive role.
  • Experience in the B2B Channel industry is preferred.

Analytical/Data Skills:

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with complex functions are required.
  • Ability to build functional and insightful dashboards in Power BI or Tableau. Proficient DAX coding is a big plus.
  • Strong logical and analytic thinking with ability to turn data into insights and recommendations.
  • Understanding of marketing KPIs. Define, develop, and monitor KPI over time.
  • Basic knowledge of database structure, ETL, data pipelines and SQL skills.
  • Willingness to learn Python and R focusing on analytical and statistical packages.
  • Excellent communication skills across written, slide deck, and verbal presentations.

  • Strong attention to detail with high standards, with a phenomenal sense of ownership over your work.
  • Work can be performed independently with a problem-solving spirit and multi-task ability.
  • Self-motivated who can adapt quickly to new challenges, and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Openness to work with different cultures and offshore teams in different time zone.
  • Keen learner who likes to stay on top of new technologies for analytics and visualization.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in Milpitas, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Annual Salary Range $130,000—$170,000 USD
