Job OverviewThe primary function of the Parts Clerk is to maintain the parts room and parts / supply inventory. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Fleet Manager.
Primary Duties
- Stocking shelves, stock rotation, restocking and stock relocation
- Receiving, shipping and transferring parts, components, materials and supplies
- Set up and maintain inventory in a ready state for use
- Parts physical Inventory
- Maintaining and cleaning of parts room and parts warehouse
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
- Demonstrate professionalism; be courteous and friendly to customers and co-workers at all times
- Regular interaction with peers on-site, including face-to-face meetings and spontaneous conferences
- Follows company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies
- Regular and reliable attendance and presence at work
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively perform responsibilities under a high level of stress.
- Operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Other duties as assigned by management
- High school education and 1 years of position related experience
- Computer Skills (Excel / Microsoft Word / Outlook)
- Valid driver’s license.
- Pass pre-employment 7-year criminal background check
