Corporation for Public Management is Hiring a #109-24 House Coordinator Le Clair Naugatuck Near Naugatuck, CT

SUMMARY: The responsibility of the Residential Coordinator will function as a primary support for the overall administration and provision of residential services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The position requires strong organizational skills, proficient problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, an ability to lead team efforts, and the capacity to work with developmentally disabled adults in a structured setting.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors, preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in similar position preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must have the ability to work in high stress/ high volume environment, while maintaining open communication with other components of treatment and operations
  • Knowledge of DDS systems.
  • Knowledge of basic computer technology and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination.
  • Medication Certification through DDS must be acquired within six months of hire date and maintained throughout employment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide oversight of daily program operations for a housing program servicing individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Must be able to exercise efficient problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • An ability to calmly respond to crisis and emergency situations.
  • Manage and maintain an account of all on-site and mandated staff training.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external providers (including but not limited to; parents/guardians, DDS case management, residential and day program providers, nursing staff and other service providers).
  • Advocate in the best interest of the individuals being served.
  • Facilitates the staff interview and hiring process.
  • Conducts staff meetings and supervision.
  • Knowledge of therapy, is preferred.
  • Completes staff scheduling and delegates daily transportation assignments.
  • Track and document fiscal expenditures.
  • Responsible for the timely submission of timesheets to payroll.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SALARY: $45,000 - $50,000/ Annually 

SCHEDULE: Full time: Monday - Friday (8:00am to 4:00 pm)
