The Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development (COAD) is a 50-year-old nonprofit organization that provides direct services for Ohio’s Appalachian counties in Early Care and Education, AmeriCorps Seniors, Weatherization and Energy Efficiency, and serves the state of Ohio in its accredited Weatherization Training Center. The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking an Early Care & Education (ECE) Special Project Coordinator. In this role, you will support the work of our ECE training center and the District Office.

Key Responsibilities include:

· Development of reports

· Coordinating events

· Developing marketing and outreach materials including print and digital resources

· Assisting customers with registration for training events

· Providing support services for trainers

· Maintaining records; and tracking and reporting deliverables and expenses related to our training services.

Requirements

Key Qualifications:

· The ideal candidate will be approachable and resourceful

· Assertive, and able to relate to a diverse population

· Strong interpersonal skills, 

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft office programs, particularly Word and Excel. 

· Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable with periodic travel throughout the region. Occasional overnight, evening, and/or weekend hours can be expected.
