Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various production tasks, ensuring quality control, and maintaining efficient workflow processes. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform finish production work on springs.
• Monitor workflow through heat treatment, coating, and cooling processes.
• Correspond work orders with products.
• Measure wire size, length, and inside diameter and inspect coating for conformance to quality standards.
• Stencil springs based on customer specifications.
• Paint springs according to wire size guidelines.
• Organize, band, and tag springs on pallets.
• Stage pallets for shipping.
• Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Adhere to and maintain compliance with established systems, policies, and procedures.
• Comply with all safety and housekeeping expectations and 5S standards.
• Keep supervisor(s) informed of progress, issues, quality concerns, and rework needed.
• Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for continuous performance and process improvements.
• Contribute to a spirit of cooperation and teamwork within and between departments and shifts.
• Demonstrate and uphold Company values.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of production procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.
• Proficient in measuring and inspecting products for quality assurance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
