POSITION MISSION

As the IT System Engineer US, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the local infrastructure supporting our colleagues in Phoenix and Portland offices. You'll handle user requests, troubleshoot IT infrastructure issues, and manage infrastructure software problems.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

• Collaborate with and lead local consultants on specific projects, including the implementation of complex infrastructure activities.

• Manage US local infrastructure projects.

• Provide PC/end-user support for applications not supported by external consultants (ERP, Microsoft O365, Mimecast, etc.).

• Support and administer local hardware (Servers, PCs, printers, media totems, telephones, video conference systems).

• Manage US vendor accounts and contracts (Internet service providers, voice, hardware, 3rd party support).

• Administer wireless phones and plans (AT&T).

• Coordinate and delegate IT local suppliers for specific activities such as server monitoring, data backups (onsite and offsite), disaster recovery, remote user PC support, infrastructure project assistance, emergency onsite/hands-on support, and project onsite/hands-on support.

• Manage and budget IT US hardware purchases.

• Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

• Develop and update technical documentation as needed.

• Support the Divisional Security Manager in implementing IT security.

• Work closely with the rest of the IT&WEB team to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.

• Travel quarterly to the Oregon office or as needed for IT-related projects.

• Perform other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT experience.

• Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office, OS, Nutanix, VMWare, Office 365, and Network elements.

• Preferred but not required technical accreditation in relevant technologies (i.e., Microsoft, Networking, Security, etc.).

• Technical skills in Microsoft Server Windows versions: 2012, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022; Microsoft Teams; Desktop and mobile device management (e.g., Manage Engine Desktop Central); Networking and Network monitoring; Hardware management and setup; Videoconferencing systems MS Teams or Zoom.

• Preferred but not required: Microsoft SQL Server; Amazon Web Services.

• Ability to work under pressure.

Salary: $90-$100K plus 10% Bonus
