Our commercial plumbing company is looking for a hard-working, dependable Plumber Helpers to support our staff.

In this role, you will assist our on-site team as needed. Maintain and keep track of company tools. Make sure tools are available for Plumbing Mechanics when needed. Ability to use tubing cutters, snap cutter, or sawzall to cut piping according to size requested by Plumber, and drill holes for pipe installation. Our ideal candidate has manual dexterity, a strong familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools, and a willingness to take direction from a licensed plumber.

Plumber Helper Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper tools for each job are available
• Measure and cut pipes
• Drill holes
• Aid in connection of piping
• Provide other assistance to a plumber as needed
• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Estimate time and extent of repairs and communicate with Plumber
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Maintain material and supply inventory
• Maintain company Van. (keep it organized)

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year experience in plumbing or other construction trades is required
• Familiarity with plumbing tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload and lift at least 50 lbs required
• Must have clean SC driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
