Day Porter/Office Cleaner Needed in Novi, Michigan

- Monday-Friday
- 10am to 2pm (additional hours on Fridays, 10am-4:30pm)
- $14/hr - Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit
- No weekends, no holidays
Job Title: Part-Time Cleaner
Position Purpose: The primary responsibilities involve the upkeep of the facility to enhance and maintain the look of it. The porter will have multiple responsibilities to help facility function throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
- Spot clean designated areas based off the customer's needs
- Restock paper products and soap dispensers
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Dusting light fixtures & handrails
- Cleaning glass/windows
- Keeping parking lot, front entrance, and sidewalks free of debris
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the office space
- Perform minor maintenance, including changing light bulbs
- Notify management of any cleaning issues, repairs or maintenance required
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and cleanliness
Requirements:
- Willing to undergo Background check
- Must be 18 yrs or older
- Reliable transportation - Must have your own car to drive between buildings
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Detail oriented
- Work well with others
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work is a plus, but not required.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving objects.
- Reliable and punctual
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22.5 per week
