Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Handy Man to join our team. As a Handy Man, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on various systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks effectively
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to the supervisor
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or similar role
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals
- Familiarity with ( System) software is a plus
- Ability to weld, fabricate, and work with logic controllers is highly desirable
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance is preferred
- Supervising or leadership experience is a plus
Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and external contractors
Monday - Friday
Must be Authorized to work in the USA
Must have a drivers license - Fuel allowance per project
