We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement nursing policies and procedures. - Supervise and lead nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure a skilled and compassionate team. - Monitor and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring they align with individual needs and regulatory requirements. - Foster a culture of excellence in patient care, promoting best practices and continuous improvement. - Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards. - Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of nursing staff. - Participate in quality assurance initiatives, conducting regular audits and assessments. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance communication and coordination of care. - Handle escalated patient care issues, collaborating with staff to resolve challenges effectively. - Act as a liaison between nursing staff and administration, facilitating clear communication and addressing concerns promptly. Qualifications: - Registered Nurse (RN) preferred or LPN. Valid AZ state license. - Strong understanding of long-term care regulations and quality improvement processes. - Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. - Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technology.
