Responsibilities:
Working under the direction of the RN/Charge Nurse, the LVN provides nursing care within his/her scope of practice following unit specific standards of care and the policies and procedures of Corona Regional Medical Center.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Minimum of six months experience preferred in a general acute care facility or an acquired equivalent competency appropriate to the type of patient the Emergency Room provides care for.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Assaultive Behavior Management training required within 90 days of hire date.
REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Current CA LVN license required. Current BLS (CPR) required.
Current PALS required 90 days of hire
Current blood withdrawal & IV certification required.
Rhythm Identification required 90 days of hire.
