Overview
Corning Dental Associates is looking for an awesome dental assistant who loves helping and working with others for a full-time position at a high quality-general dentistry office.
Our office has been helping our community smile for 51 years! We see patients of all ages and provide amazing dental care with state of art technology in a family-friendly environment.
We can't wait to welcome you to our team! Work days : Mondays through Friday, no weekends.
Schedule : Monday & Thursday 7 : 30am-5 : 30pm, Tuesday 9 : 30am-7 : 30pm, Friday 7 : 30am-5 : 30pm
Duties / Responsibilities
Work one on one with the dentist to support and provide clinical treatment for patients.
Sterilization / infection control- instruments and operatories.
Digital imaging / xrays.
Physical impressions and digital scanning.
Treatment planning.
Work as a team with other members of the office to provide and support patient care.
Various office tasks as assigned by Practice Leader and / or Dentist.
Practice within the legal scope of assistant duties depending on state regulations- on site training provided.
Education and Experience
Dental assisting experience preferred, willing to train.
CPR certification.
Dental Assistant State License / Certification Requirements based on the state you are employed.
Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) Certification preferred.
Required Skills / Abilities
Adhere to OSHA guidelines, HIPAA Privacy Policy, and clinical operating procedures.
Work with and maintain all dental equipment.
Positively contribute to a respectful and collaborative working environment.
Facilitate patient comfort, care, and satisfaction in a professional manner.
Present to work during scheduled shifts (see office manual for specifics).
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of periods of standing and bending.
