Title: Logistics Operations Team Leader

Reports to: Logistics Manager

Location: Dade City location

Job Summary: The Logistics Operations Team Leader oversees support operations, including loading/unloading materials and maintaining off loading and staging areas. This role ensures efficient operations, quality standards, and limited paperwork tasks, requiring hands-on leadership and equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team in loading/unloading plants, mulch, pavers, and other materials.
• Ensure efficient and safe operations, meeting quality standards and company expectations.
• Participate in loading/unloading activities and operate a skid-steer as needed.
• Oversee limited daily paperwork duties, including record-keeping and inventory documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Facilitate clear communication among team members, stakeholders, and management for effective operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in landscaping, plant nursery, tree farm or related field experience preferred.
• Previous experience in outdoor work, landscaping, or related field experience.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience in leading teams.
• Safely and efficiently operate skid-steer and other equipment; Training available if needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Working Conditions: The Outdoor Operations Team Leader will primarily work outdoors, participating in loading/unloading activities and operating equipment. This role may involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical labor. The Team Leader must also be able to work closely with team members, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
