Position Description: Project Manager Consultants (2 Positions) Location: Seattle District Employment Type: Full-Time Company: Cornerstone Signals & Cyber Technologies LLC Overview: Cornerstone is seeking two highly skilled Project Manager Consultants to join our team on a full-time basis. The selected candidates will provide essential support to the Seattle District project managers by developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules and budgets within the Corps Project Management System (PROMIS). Additionally, the consultants will be responsible for maintaining data quality in PROMIS and providing training and mentoring to new government schedulers. Key Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and maintain project schedules and budgets using Oracle/Primavera P6 (P6) within the Corps Project Management System (PROMIS).
Ensure data quality and integrity in PROMIS, interfacing with various Corps Management Systems, including the Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS), Resident Management System (RMS), and the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams in project scheduling and controls.
Conduct training sessions and mentoring for new government schedulers on scheduling concepts and practices.
Collaborate with project managers to create new projects using custom P6 Web Portlets and ensure proper assignment of project permissions and classifications.
Manage the import and integration of the Organization Breakdown Structure, Resource Dictionary, Cost Account system, and activity codes from CEFMS.
Adhere to CEFMS financial rules and appropriation/program reporting requirements for project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
Perform monthly status updates, including running interfaces to pull CEFMS expenditures into P6, creating new Certified Budgets, and managing WBS/Activity/Resource Assignment hierarchies.
Qualifications: Factor 1: Technical Leadership
Minimum of three years of experience providing technical leadership to project teams in project scheduling and controls.
Factor 2: Teaching and Mentoring
At least one year of experience teaching scheduling concepts and practices in formal (classroom) or informal (peer-to-peer) settings.
Factor 3: P6 Proficiency
Minimum of one year of experience developing, updating, and maintaining project schedules and budgets using Oracle/Primavera P6 (P6).
Factor 4: PROMIS Proficiency
Training and/or experience in using the Corps of Engineers Project Management Information Management System (PROMIS) or the ability to become fully proficient within thirty days of contract award.
Factor 5: Educational Background
A four-year degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Business Management, or a related field.
Additional Information: PROMIS is a unique system used by the Corps of Engineers that interfaces P6 with various management systems, including CEFMS, RMS, and the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Understanding and adhering to the constraints and requirements imposed by these interfaces, especially the CEFMS interface, is crucial for successful project management within PROMIS.
