Cornerstone Residential Management is Hiring a Property Monitors Near Broward County, FL

Job Purpose:

The Property Monitor (PM) is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents and visitors at the property managed by the property management company. The PM will patrol the property and respond to incidents and safety issues. This position requires an elevated level of customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail. The PM applies best practices to complete assigned duties safely, on-time, with a customer service mindset, and in alignment with CRM standards and procedures.

Essential Functions:

- Patrol the property on foot or by vehicle to monitor, observe, and report activities occurring and provide a reasonably safe community for residents and visitors.

- Respond to any event on the property, including but not limited to noise complaints, disturbances, suspicious activity, and medical emergencies. (This listing is illustrative and incomplete.)

- Ensure all residents and visitors follow the property's rules and regulations.

- Monitor the property's surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement and supervisor.

- Use mobile devices to complete daily shift reports and incident reports.

- Provide excellent customer service to all residents and visitors.

- Assist with parking enforcement, including towing unauthorized vehicles.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

-After-hours minor Maintenance issues

• Oversees, supports, and collaborates with facility users, including staff, tenants, permit holders, and others • Operates and implements a variety of access provisions, including property monitoring, surveillance, and property operating systems

• Maintains accurate records and completes appropriate reporting using provided and approved applications and technology

• Communicates effectively with guest, resident and associates; anticipates needs and is responsive to requests

Minimum Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Prior experience in security or law enforcement preferred. Must have a current/valid Florida Class security D license.

- Must possess a valid Florida driver's license and have reliable transportation.

- Must work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods.

- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills and ability to write and complete reports.

- Must be able to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.

- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

The Parking Monitor must be able to walk or stand for extended periods and must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. The Property Monitor must also be able to respond quickly to emergencies, which may require running or climbing stairs.

Working Conditions:

The Property monitor will primarily work outdoors and may be exposed to extreme weather conditions. The Property Monitor may also be required to work in confined spaces and may be exposed to hazardous materials.

Experience:

· Familiar TrackTik reporting

· Two years of experience preferred in the same or similar industry.

Language Skills:

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful
