Cornerstone –Program Supervisor-Residential Crisis Services

The Program Supervisor manages the day to day clinical and administrative operations of the RCS team at their assigned site and is responsible for providing leadership and direct supervision of the RCS team.

Responsibilities of the Program Supervisor-Residential Crisis Services

• Responsible for the direct supervision of a residential crisis house team including: hiring, training, orienting and supervising crisis counselors, students and volunteers. May provide licensed clinical supervision to license candidates if applicable.
• Collaborates with the Program Manager to oversee coordination of care, including establishing relationships with outside agencies regarding referrals.
• Provides guidance and assistance to Crisis Counselors concerning clinical and administrative problem solving and documentation standards.
• Manages the development of the work schedule of staff coverage for the site, final approves leave requests and monitors that secured coverage is sufficient to meet the needs of the site.
• Monitors revenue and expenses against the budget to include but not limited to tracking of sub and overtime utilization.
• Assists the program manager with monitoring program outcomes for assigned site.
• Ensures that all administrative tasks are completed timely, both personally and for staff supervised.
• Demonstrates thorough understanding and application of COMAR, Medicaid, County, CARF, and other regulatory guidelines and ensures compliance.
• Oversees and reviews necessary electronic health record reports, ensuring completion within required deadlines.
• Oversees admission, discharge, and transition planning including required documentation.
• May conduct training(s) based on agency needs, performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications of the Program Supervisor-Residential Crisis Services

• Master’s degree in social work or a related field plus a minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience to include supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience to include supervisory experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree.
• Experience in Evidenced Based Practices and substance abuse preferred.Master’s degree in social work or a related field
