Cornerstone Montgomery – Director of Crisis Services

The Director of Crisis Services has overarching responsibility for all non-medical aspects of the Residential Crisis Services (RCS) and Assertive Community Team (ACT) programs. This position leads teams of dedicated and committed supervisors, and direct support professionals. This position works closely with the Chief Medical Officer to manage RCS and ACT in regards to prescriber oversight and management. This position will require an eye for quality assurance and detail, strong leadership abilities, a high sense of urgency, reliable follow through, direction and management of program and program development, and a strong passion for serving our community. This includes leading, driving, and managing the delivery of effective and high quality member services; ensuring program integrity relative to day-to-day program operations, compliance with all internal policies/ procedures and quality assurance measures, adherence to licensing standards, program financial viability; supervising, developing, and growing staff; and overseeing the appropriate maintenance and care of facilities, equipment, and vehicles relative to these services.
Responsibilities of the Director of Crisis Services
· Oversee operations of CCBHC programs, ensuring high quality services that meet the fidelity of the model. Participates in current and future planning to ensure appropriate goal development, implementation and outcomes
· Oversee daily operations of ACT and RCS programs, ensuring high quality services focused on the individuals served. Participates in current and future planning to ensure appropriate goal development, implementation and outcomes as they relate to the programs.
· Works collaboratively with the Medical Director and RCS/ACT prescribers regarding schedule, expectations, medical needs and coordination with the supervisors and direct line staff.
· Responsible for proper administration of budgets and financial oversight. Participates in the program and budget planning process by developing proposals for policies and procedures to implement agreed upon goals. Monitor the appropriate use and care of the physical infrastructure, vehicles, and technology systems/equipment within the programs.
· Continuously evaluates the status of clients and directs the planning and coordination of treatment activities to ensure appropriate coordination of care. Ensures appropriate assessment, planning, coordination, linkage and delivery of services to all program clients.
· Work with the teams in strategizing, creating, and overseeing plans that will provide the best available support and ensure the health and safety of individuals served
· Provides direct supervision to program supervisors and indirect supervision to direct care staff as needed. May provide clinical supervision to graduate licensed staff, interns, including assisting with psychosocial evaluations and co‐signing clinical documentation.
