Summary :

The Utility performs general factory work and fills in for the Packer and Grinder as needed.

Essential Functions / Duties and Responsibilities :

• Pulling orders of finished goods from warehouse. Ensures that product is in a shippable configuration.
• Ensures that good housekeeping practices are followed in both the warehouse and in and around the regrind

room. Clean up any loose wood, stretch wrap, and banding.

• Assist in banding, wrapping, stacking, and proper storage of all regrind.
• Monitor warehouse for AIB requirements. Ensure that no pallets are placed on the white perimeter or block the

emergency exits.

• Understands and can demonstrate the material identifications per SOP 8.1-5
• Properly operates pallet stretch wrap machine.
• Minimize product damage caused by warehouse activity through safe work practices.
• Ensure all received items are inspected for damage and the BOL is filled out properly if damage occurs. All items

need to be placed in proper location and in a timely manner.

• Is qualified to operate various lift trucks used in Production and in the warehouse.
• Supports the Operator by using an appropriate lift truck to locate and deliver raw material and cartons to the

appropriate production line and remove all finished goods from the line and move to or store in the proper

location.

Communication : Ability to take direction. Ability to read and understand written documents, such as safety

rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Logical reasoning : Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram forms.
• Mathematical : Ability to understand simple mathematics, using addition, subtraction, division, and

multiplication.
