Role Description

This position is responsible for connecting the organization with potential participants, stakeholders, and organizations whose goals, mission, and purpose align with that of Cornerstone Connections. It is expected that the individual(s) work closely with community partners to plan and execute outreach events, recruitment fairs, etc. This position is a community facing position that requires a solid level of comfort in interacting with others.

A Formal Background Check will be placed prior to employment

Duties and Responsibilities

• Representing Cornerstone Connections and it’s programs in a professional manner
• Presence at local community events and partner organizations
• Implement promotional strategies with the goal of increasing program/organization reach
• Develop marketing materials such as flyers utilizing Canva or related platform
• Highly organized and efficient
• Able to connect and work well with the public
• Performing all the necessary administrative duties such as record keeping, reports, etc.

Education/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree/ minimum High school diploma and/or some college
• Ability to present information in a clear and professional manner.
• Demonstrated experience in promoting and coordinating a social service program
• Ability to manage events
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
• Excellent networking and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic and decision making skills
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
