BIPOC and LGBTQ community are strongly encouraged to apply.Salary range: $50,000-$60,000Job Summary:This position is responsible for duties related to the supervision of Part- time and Relief Staff advocates in the Emergency Services Program (ES), The Program is inclusive of 24-hour shelter/hotel and crisis line services. The ES supervisor works to develop an advocate team that ensures the delivery of trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and culturally responsive services in a safe, clean, welcoming, and inclusive environment. This position maintains a high level of accountability and decision-making in providing quality services, employee management, and programmatic aspects as assigned. The ES supervisor works with the program team to meet the dynamic changing needs of victims/survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and human trafficking/sexual exploitation during their residential stay and transition from a shelter. This position assists the ES Manager in maintaining strong relationships with communities, service providers, and systems partners. In addition, with the ES Manager and Cornerstone’s Administration Program, ensures the shelter retains the necessary food, basic supplies, and personal items for participants and is a well- maintained facility.Hours/Schedule: This position requires a flexible work schedule which varies based on supervisory and program needs but may include some evenings, weekend hours and an occasional overnight. This position includes an on-call rotating schedule to assist with staff support, coaching and direct service coverage. Additional coverage and support may be needed to provide essential services needed during a local/national concern or major public awareness events.Experience/Qualifications Bachelor's degree in social work or related field. Minimum of 1 years of experience providing direct crisis response services to individuals; and 2 years of experience providing direct staff supervision and leadership in an environment that is responsive to individuals and families who have experienced trauma and violence. Length of experience in a social service field may be considered in lieu of some educational requirements. 
  • Strong skillset in staff supervision and understanding of trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and culturally responsive practices.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with diverse, marginalized, and/or underrepresented communities, and the impact of trauma and violence in culturally based context.
  • Ability to provide direct services over via phone, text, email, chat technologies and in-person.
  • Understanding of the social services, victim’s rights and compensation, criminal justice, mental health, and homeless delivery systems which interface with v/s.
  • Ability to work independently and within a Team Leadership setting.
  • Preferred 40-hour sexual assault certification or the ability to complete training within 6 months.
  • Knowledge and aptitude of Microsoft Office, databases, and other related forms of technology.
  • Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance and reliable vehicle.
Essential Functions:
  • Provides professional supervision, performance management, coaching, role modeling, and accountability of part-time/relief staff ES advocates and others as assigned. Minimum monthly supervision meetings for part-time and regularly scheduled relief staff supervision.
  • Maintains daily provision of 24/7 Emergency Services in alignment with CAS’ mission, philosophy, and values.
  • Actively assists in hiring, orienting, and coordinates training of new ES staff, volunteers, and interns.
  • Ensures accurate documentation of direct services, intervention calls and outcome measurement tools.
  • Schedules and ensures 24/7 coverage of services by trained staff, interns, and volunteers as assigned.
  • Works together with the ES Manager to ensure advocate teamwork to ensure quality services, support, and advocacy is provided 24/7. Inclusive of enhancing advocates’ comprehensive knowledge of social, mental health, and housing services to assist participants in understanding and navigating these systems. Emphasis on additional barriers within these systems that may impact diverse, marginalized, and/or underrepresented communities.
  • Monitors and revises resources, referrals, and training manuals to keep ES advocates current with all information/tools needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Available to assist with resident participant’s needs, walk-ins, and crisis line coverage.
  • Available when necessary to provide direct services and shift coverage for 24/7 teams.
  • Properly document all critical incidents: child protection reports, emergency response calls, and participant injury/concerns.
  • Maintains accurate employee records including timesheet review, signature and submission, supervision/coaching sessions, schedules, and other related duties as assigned.
  • Keeps Program Director apprised of accomplishments, concerns, and critical staffing/performance issues.
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor that support overall program services and services to survivors/victims.
