Cornells in Little Italy is owned by the Perreca's Business Group and has been serving the Capital District since the 1940's with a white table cloth, fine dining experience. Cornells is currently updating service, decor, and food / bar offerings for a more modern and unique dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Experience:
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required
- Knowledge of wine pairing and suggestive selling restaurant techniques
- Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for guest relations
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
