We are a small single provider clinic looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate has previous experience in a medical office setting. This position works in a busy environment with multiple demands, and people interactions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a high level of customer service with patients and their family members, coworkers, insurance companies and provider
• Verifying patient insurance coverage, obtaining prior authorizations and referrals for treatment prior to patient visits
• Ensuring patients complete required forms and obtains necessary signatures prior to treatment
• Leading daily morning huddle with team to ensure smooth clinic operation
• Filling in as Front Desk/ MA as needed on busy clinic days
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

• Maintains high morale and productivity
• Displays a calm and positive demeanor in a busy office setting
• Must be organized and able to work independently
• Knowledge of medical insurances, Electronic medical records

Education: High school graduate or equivalent is required.

Experience:

• Medical Office: 1 year (Minimum)
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Prior experience as Medical Assistant is a plus
• Billing experience for medical bills are a plus

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience
