As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of the physical infrastructure.

Your role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, addressing repairs, and implementing preventive measures to create a safe and well-maintained working environment.

Under general supervision, performs moderately complex repair of equipment and facilities electro / mechanical systems. Diagnose, troubleshoot, test and repair facilities equipment failures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC system checks, plumbing repairs, and electrical maintenance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address issues such as leaks, equipment malfunctions, and structural repairs.

Troubleshoot and diagnose problems to determine the best course of action for repairs.

• Implement and execute preventive maintenance schedules for various equipment and systems. Collaborate with other departments to develop and refine preventive maintenance plans.
• Maintain outdoor spaces, including landscaping, parking lots, and walkways. Coordinate with external vendors for specialized groundskeeping tasks.
• Ensure facilities comply with safety regulations and standards. Conduct safety inspections and address any identified hazards promptly.
• Act as a point of contact for emergency maintenance issues. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency response.

Required Qualifications, Skills / Competencies

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of general building maintenance.
• Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment effectively.
