Position Summary:The Traveling Superintendent will travel extensively for the company and its strategic clients. Travel requirements will be dictated by the size and length of the project. While traveling, this position will be provided with regular return trips home and per diem living expense reimbursement. Travel costs are also paid for by the company. This position must be able to work independently and be able to coordinate all aspects of the project with support from the Project Manager. Assists with on-site administrative and technical management on construction project site and supervises the day-to-day operations of work performed including work performed by sub-contracted vendors
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of the activities of a construction site according to project blueprints and schedule plans. Also responsible for coordinating subcontractors, performing quality control and safety checks and providing on-site direction when preparing construction sites.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in an engineering or construction related field, including civil engineering, construction management, or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.
