Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Clerk. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments from customers. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining the financial health of our company.

Duties:
- Process and post customer payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare and send out invoices to customers
- Monitor customer accounts for any discrepancies or outstanding balances
- Conduct account analysis to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any billing disputes or discrepancies
- Perform data entry tasks to update customer information and payment details
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely billing and payment processes
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and communications

Skills:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, or similar accounting software
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, including debits and credits
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks
- Ability to analyze financial data and perform account analysis
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Experience in public accounting or related field is a plus
- Proficient 10-key typing skills for efficient data entry
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams
