Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, and mini excvators safely and efficiently.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Transport materials and equipment to and from construction sites using commercial driving skills.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure equipment is used effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while on site to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform tasks such as digging and grading.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on the equipment to ensure proper functioning
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as track loader, dozer, track hoe, and skid loader. (WILLING TO TRAIN IF LIMITED EXPERIENCE)
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members.
- Physical stamina and strength to withstand long hours of operating heavy equipment.
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and different job sites.
