Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, and mini excvators safely and efficiently.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Transport materials and equipment to and from construction sites using commercial driving skills.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure equipment is used effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while on site to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform tasks such as digging and grading.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on the equipment to ensure proper functioning

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as track loader, dozer, track hoe, and skid loader. (WILLING TO TRAIN IF LIMITED EXPERIENCE)
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to heavy equipment operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members.
  • Physical stamina and strength to withstand long hours of operating heavy equipment.
  • Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and different job sites.

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
