Corewell Health Corporate is Hiring a MRI Technologist Part time Nights Weekends Near Grand Rapids, MI
This position is eligible for up to $20,000 in incentives for eligible candidates!

Job Summary
- Verifies patient’s clinical history, ensuring that information is documented and readily available to the licensed practitioner.
- Completes proper patient identification and order verification. Prepares patients for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety.
- Selects and operates magnetic resonance system, surface coils, physiologic gating devices and associated equipment to achieve desired results. Positions patient and equipment to best demonstrate the anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort.
- Prepares/administers contrast media as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
- Evaluates images and data for technical quality, manipulates display parameters, and pushes images to picture archiving and communication system (PACS) as the accepted electronic format for permanent patient record, assures proper identification is evident.
- Maintains a clean work environment and communicates any equipment malfunctions to appropriate department unit personnel.
- Assignments are routine; follows established protocols. Works under close supervision, seeks guidance where needed; requires some instruction on day-to-day work and resolves routine problems.
- Required Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field

- CRT-American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) upon hire required OR
- CRT-Radiation Therapist - ARRT upon hire required Or
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT upon hire required Or
- CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARRT upon hire required Or
- CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS upon hire required Or
- CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB upon hire required Or
- CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT upon hire required Or
- CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS upon hire required Or
- CRT-Musculoskeletal (MSK) - ARDMS upon hire required And
- CRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) - ARRT within 2 years required
- CRT-American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) within 2 years required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC within 90 days required
