BI Lead Analysts drive the business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis needs of the organization. It is essential that BI Lead Analysts build an understanding of the business at a level of detail that enables them to identify and address critical issues. They provide data that is accurate, congruent, and reliable, and ensure the information is easily available to users for direct consumption or integration with other systems. BI Lead Analysts educate and train customers to use data as an analytical tool. They must work well within a team environment, and mentor and support less skilled BI Analysts on the team. As the most senior technical expert, BI Lead Analysts are expected to develop and seek new methods and technologies for data analysis, finding insights, and storytelling with data.
