Our client is seeking a BILINGUAL Quality Control Tech and Training associate for an onsite role in Ogden, UT! This associate will be tasked with planning, implementation of QA Programs, and delivering training.

Only considering candidates with the following:

• Must be fully bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Must have previous metal shop experience!!
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment required.
• At least two years of related work experience required.
• AWS CWI certification preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to design and implement effective training.
• Basic understanding of quality control standards and methodology.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Collects and evaluates production samples, ensuring that materials and products meet acceptable quality and integrity standards
• Inspects quality and quantity of supplies delivered to the team.
• Verifies that outgoing deliveries meet company quality standards.
• Maintains detailed and accurate work records.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, company metrics.
• Monitors and periodically reports on production quality, nonconformance, trends, and underlying causes of defects in products or processes.
• Drafts and maintains standard operating procedures, manuals, and documentation for the manufacturing and QA processes.
• Drafts and implements policies and procedures to improve the manufacturing process and the quality of goods produced.
• Evaluates and modifies existing or proposed programs; suggests and implements suitable changes.
• Plans, organizes, and effectively conducts employee training on various skill, safety, and compliance areas.
• Researches and identifies areas in which training is required and/or beneficial.
• Designs, drafts, and/or acquires new training materials.
• Administers, scores, and logs results of qualification, learning assessment, and retention tests; arranges retraining or other appropriate action for insufficient scores.
• Collaborates with the team to identify ways to improve department effectiveness; implements viable ideas.
• Facilitates communication among production departments and management.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
