THE ROLE OF A COREPOWER YOGA STUDIO COORDINATOR As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you live your power by supporting the world class CorePower Yoga studio experience including coordinating studio operations and holding the studio to the highest health and safety standards. In alignment with our Core Values, you work alongside the Studio Manager to deliver results and sustained growth towards all current company and studio-level goals. This SC role is a part-time, entry-level position which will allow you to learn the business and develop the skillset to operate a studio. Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience - Act as an ambassador of the CorePower Yoga Core Values at all times and consistently inspire these values in others - Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio level goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment - Commit to flexible schedule of 18-29 hours per week in studio in support of operations coordination and teaching (if certified), include health and safety protocol execution, front desk guidance, and team support - Must be flexible with schedule availability within the hourly commitment in service of the studio and team - Serve as the studio-level point of contact for students and staff if/when Studio Manager is not present - Support maintaining an appropriate level of studio supply inventory so that all provisions and amenities are available for students at all times including cleanliness inventory, locker room amenities, towels, programming materials, etc. - Engage and know your studio community consistently; greet students by name, serve as an ambassador of yoga both inside and outside of the studio, and spend quality time at the front desk fostering community - Support our teachers learning experience of working the POS and other pre/post class duties Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety and Cleanliness Protocol in the Studio​ - Uphold high standards for the studio and when on duty, ensure that the physical studio space meets the high CPY standards of cleanliness and functionality including a safe environment, optimum heat and humidity, inspiring music, and clean and clutter-free surroundings in all areas of the studio - Support communication around Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and throughout their visit at CPY ​ - Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET) including cleaning the studio, stocking amenities, and ensuring the CPY cleanliness protocol is always followed while on duty in the studio - When scheduled at the studio, support coordination of the Studio Experience Team (SET) including shift scheduling, stepping in for no call/no shows, and training - Lead Orientation for new Studio Experience Team members and train them on cleanliness protocol and role expectations Coordinate Studio Systems - Act as a liaison between the Studio Manager and the teaching and SET teams in training, communicating, and coordinating studio operational systems including but not limited to: - Point of Sales System (POS); understand and efficiently navigate POS to sign students in, sell packages and memberships, and explore and correct problems with student accounts when at the desk - Online Reservation System; support administrative follow up of late cancel fees, waitlist, student support, etc - Subbing Application; support training and usage for teaching team - HRIS Application; support training and usage for teaching and SET team - Help Desk; Submit facilities tickets when on duty ​and communicate follow up needs to Studio Manager Teaching Schedule - Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 6 classes per week of branded CorePower Yoga classes and support the studio through subbing additional classes as needed SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Value Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills are required Experience in Customer Service required Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour program is preferred Yoga Sculpt teacher training is preferred Familiar and comfortable in studio systems such as the HRIS, intranet, point of sale systems, company scheduling and payroll systems, etc. Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniority Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines Proven self-starter with ability to take on new projects with enthusiasm Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel - Excellent Time Management skills - Ability to take initiative and prioritize - College (BA/BS) preferred THE FINE PRINT - Availability must match the needs of the business and leadership zig-zag schedules – morning, evening, weekend and some holiday availability and flexibility required - Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs. - If certified to teach, must be able to step in to teach class with little to no notice while scheduled in the studio THE PERKS - Free All Access Membership for you to use any time in studio or online. - Free All Access Membership for a Plus One to use at any time in studio or online. - 30% off Retail with access to 50% off during employee LOVE sales throughout the year - Continued education including free intensive yoga training and free 300 HR Teacher Training (for those that meet minimum requirements) - Access to sequencing binder - 401(k) - Employee Assistance Program
