We are seeking an experienced On-Site Insurance Verification Specialist to join our Corporate Headquarters in Linthicum Heights, MD. This position is responsible for assisting patients with their individual healthcare benefits coverage levels and educating them about what services are covered. Your day will be spent on the phone with patients and managed care companies, so phone etiquette and customer service skills are required.

Core Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, management, and patients by phone and written communication.
• Must be proficient in Excel.
• Must be proficient in EPIC and/or Nextgen – Professional Billing Module
• High School Diploma or GED; associate's degree preferred.
• At least two (2) years working with insurance companies and understanding coverage and policies.
• At least two (2) years of customer service experience.
• Previous billing / AR experience is a plus.
