The Food Service Workerperforms high volume food preparation of average difficulty at a correctional facility and/or leads inmates/residents in food production activities.Performs related duties as required.
- Assist/lead inmates/residents in preparation of volume meals, managing supplies and cleaning
- Prepare meals and special diets in accordance with approved menus by a registered dietitian.
- Assist/direct the serving of meals according to schedules, portions, and proper procedures.
- Conduct inspections for compliance with health and safety standards; resolve issues according.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and in ordering and receiving food and food preparation supplies.
