CoreCivic is currently seeking a Director, Practice Administration located at our corporate office in Brentwood, TN.Come join a team that is dedicated to making an impact for the people and communities we serve.

This will be a hybrid work position with weekly in-office expectations. The position will be based in Nashville, TN.

The Director, Practice Administration oversees the day-to-day administrative operations of the Physician Enterprise Organization (PEO).Manages PEO staff, oversees financial operations of the PEO and ensures efficient administrative functioning of the practice.Spearheads collaborative and strategic partnerships to optimize provider efficiencies and organizational resources while aiming to improve patient care outcomes.

  • Collaborates with physicians and stakeholders to develop and execute strategic plans. Identifies and promotes best practices, while also noting barriers to efficient patient care and implementing methods to overcome those barriers.
  • Supervises and leads a team working on behalf of the PEO to ensure provider compliance with related enterprise policies and procedures.
  • Assists in developing annual goals for the PEO that addresses clinical quality, patient safety, service excellence and the provision of cost-effective clinical services.Helps prioritize proposed programs and services and actively supports resulting strategies.
  • Participates in the recruitment, selection and hiring of providers within the PEO.Serves as a liaison between the contracted employment partner and the provider, especially during onboarding and offboarding.Fosters a positive and collaborative work environment by focusing on provider morale and retention.
  • Provides input in annual performance reviews for providers and assists in determining appropriate probationary of other disciplinary actions for providers.
  • Develops and manages financial metrics in coordination with business unit leaders.Provides input from a PEO perspective on annual operating and capital budgets for approval by senior leadership.
  • Implements cost-effective strategies to improve PEO financial performance. Identifies opportunities for growth and improvement in the practice.
  • Coordinates with compliance leadership to ensure providers have and maintain appropriate certifications and collaborations needed to practice.
  • Ensures that practice complies with all relevant and healthcare regulations and standards.Stays updated on changes in healthcare laws and regulations regarding the practice of medicine in various jurisdictions.
  • Domestic U.S. travel may be required.
