Core-Tech Enterprises, LLC is Hiring a Quality and Safety Technician Near Mentor, OH

Overview:

As a Quality and Safety Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet stringent quality standards and that our workplace maintains a safe and compliant environment. You will collaborate closely with quality assurance and safety professionals to implement procedures, conduct inspections, and support initiatives aimed at enhancing both quality and safety across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine inspections and tests of in-process components, and finished products to verify compliance with quality specifications and regulatory requirements.

2. Assist in the maintenance and calibration of inspection equipment and tools to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.

3. Document and maintain accurate records of quality and safety-related data, including test results, inspection reports, non-conformances, and corrective actions.

4. Support quality and safety audits, both internal and external, by preparing documentation, facilitating inspections, and assisting in the resolution of audit findings.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate quality issues, safety incidents, and near misses, and contribute to the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).

6. Participate in the development and revision of quality procedures, work instructions, manufacturing process plans and safety protocols to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory standards.

7. Provide support and guidance to employees on quality control techniques, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements through training and coaching initiatives.

8. Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, quality certifications, safety reports, and compliance documentation as necessary.

9. Monitor and analyze quality and safety performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of concern.

10. Promote a culture of quality excellence and safety awareness by actively participating in safety committees, quality improvement teams, and other relevant forums.

Qualifications:

- Associate degree or technical certification in a related field (e.g., quality assurance, industrial safety, engineering technology).

- Previous experience in quality control, safety compliance, or a related field is advantageous.

- Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and safety management systems (SMS) principles and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001) is desirable.

- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques, measurement tools, and statistical analysis methods.

- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software tools.

- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

- Commitment to upholding high standards of quality and safety in all aspects of work.
